Here at Welsh Water, we understand that many of our customers need a little extra support from time to time.

Now more than ever, we’re particularly aware that lots of people are facing financial and personal challenges that might be making life a little difficult. So, we’re taking the time to introduce you to just some of the Welsh Water colleagues who are here to help.

Steven is a Customer Advisor with our Model Office Team. He’s 47 years old, married with 2 daughters, Katie & Amy, and 1 granddaughter, Lili. He enjoys spending time with his family, socialising with friends and touring around the UK and Europe in his touring caravan.  He’s also “Anchor Man” for the South Wales Caravan Club Tug O War team – the current British Champions!

How Steven can help you

I am part of the contact centre team, and the majority of my working day is made up of taking calls, helping customers with blockages and other water issues. I also take calls about bills, work on webchat and deal with written correspondence.


Steven’s proudest moment

Helping customers day in day out always gives me a great sense of achievement. There’s nothing better than finishing your shift knowing that my colleagues and myself have gone that extra mile to help customers who need us the most.

Why Steven wants to help

I’m a good listener, very patient, and enjoy speaking with our customers and helping out with their enquiries. I’ve worked at Welsh Water since August 2019, and it’s an excellent company to work for. The company approach is always to put customers first and it feels good to be part of a team all working towards that same goal. My teammates, colleagues and managers are a pleasure to work with.
