Cartref: Save water to save money

The Cartref team work hard to help our customers save water, energy, and money. Cutting down on your energy use isn’t just good news for your bills. It’s also key in reducing your carbon footprint. To do this, we offer a selection of free high-quality gadgets and energy saving devices that can help you cut back on your water usage.
To order your free products, all you need to do is sign up to our Get Water Fit calculator, where you’ll be able to create a personalised dashboard that will show you how and where you use water in your home and the easy ways to make savings. Once your dashboard is complete, you can then order free water saving products specific to your needs.
What products are available?
Flow regulating shower heads and shower timers
By making the switch to a flow regulating shower head, you can reduce the water usage of your showers to 8 litres per minute without compromising the water pressure. These savings can be ‘topped up’ by cutting the time spent in a shower which couldn’t be easier with our 4-minute shower timer. Tap Aerators

Water displacement bags and leakage strips
A leaky loo can waste around 200 litres of water throughout the day but can be hard to spot. Our leakage detection strips are a simple way to check to see if you have a leak. If you aren’t sure if you have a leak, let us know and we may be able to help. Another easy way to save water in the bathroom is by using of our water displacement bags.
