Water Health Partnership Wales

Our Partners

The Water Health Partnership for Wales is a public health initiative that brings together relevant organisations and agencies to work together on public health and water related issues. A large number of organisations and agencies are involved in the Water Health Partnership for Wales, including the following:
  • Consumer Council for Water

    The Consumer Council for Water is the independent voice for all water consumers in England and Wales.

  • Hafren Dyfrdwy

    Hafren Dyfrdwy brings together all the customers in Wales previously served by Severn Trent and by Dee Valley Water

  • Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI)

    DWI ensure that the water companies in England and Wales supply safe drinking water that is acceptable to consumers and meets the standards set down in law.

  • Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water

    Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is a ‘not-for-profit company’ which has been owned by Glas Cymru since 2001. It does not have shareholders and any financial surpluses are reinvested in the business for the benefit of customers.

  • Food Standards Agency

    The Food Standards Agency is an independent Government department set up to protect the public's health and consumer interests in relation to food.

  • Local Authorities

    Local authorities have responsibility for checking the safety and sufficiency of all water supplies in their area.

  • Natural Resources Wales

    Natural Resources Wales ensures the environment and natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained and used, now and in the future.

  • Public Health Wales

    Public Health Wales is part of the NHS in Wales. It provides professional and independent public health advice and services.

  • Water Regulations UK Limited (Water Regs UK)

    Water Regs UK supports water companies in their role to supply safe, resilient water supplies in the UK.

  • WaterSafe

    WaterSafe is a free online search facility funded by the water industry to help customers find competent and qualified plumbers.

  • Welsh Government

    The Welsh Government works across devolved areas that include key areas of public life such as health, education and the environment.
