The Water Health Partnership for Wales brings together public health professionals to work on issues related to water and health. Our scope includes private and public drinking water supplies.

The main aims are to keep up to date on emerging issues and to work together to protect public health. We involve colleagues from all the responsible organisations in Wales and also Herefordshire.

Membership is free and is open, by invitation, to anyone working in water and health-related roles. We are grateful for the financial support of Welsh Water and the voluntary contribution of all our colleagues.

Our Steering Group meets quarterly. It sets strategic direction and develops constructive relationships between partners and with key stakeholders. The Group reviews the Partnership’s objectives annually and monitors our progress.

Every year we organise an Annual Event. The aim of this conference is to showcase the work of the Partnership and keep in touch with all our colleagues.

Details of all meetings and events are available on the Workplace database for those with access.

Task and Finish groups of colleagues from member organisations carry out research and development work for the Partnership. Each group is sponsored by a Steering Group member.

Information on current Task and Finish group activity can be found under Key Topics.
