Man drinking waterOver the next few years, we will be investing over £21.4 million in the water network in Ceredigion (and Pembrokeshire) to provide customers with clean, fresh water for years to come. The work will see us replacing or clearing over 174km of pipe. Below is information on the individual schemes that will form part of the investment.


Llechryd

Expected start date: July 2016

Expected completion date: June 2018

Additional information: This work comes following the burst on the water main in the area last November.  To reduce the risk of the same happening again, Welsh Water committed to replace more than 5km of strategic main between Llechryd and Cilgerran.  The majority of work is taking place across farmland.


Rhydowen and Pont-sian

Expected start date: June 2016

Expected completion date: February 2017


Hafod Felinwynt

Street name: Llwyncoed Road

Expected start date: June 2016

Expected completion date: September 2016


Croft

Expected start date: June 2016

Expected completion date: November 2016

Additional information: For safety reasons, a small section of road near Pontgarreg will be closed for a around five days from 15 August.  The road closure and diversion can be viewed here.
