The work we carry out is very measurable and our performance is also compared, by Ofwat, with the rest of the water industry. Each year Ofwat produces a number of reports that provide comparative performance details of each of the water and sewerage companies of England and Wales such as:

• Levels of Service
• Financial performance and expenditure of the water companies in England and Wales
• Tariff structures and charges

Last year we were ranked joint fourth in the Overall Performance Assessment published by Ofwat of the service provided by the ten main water and sewerage companies. However there are still plenty of areas where we need to make further improvements as detailed in our Business Plan.
